Honest Burger has about 40 restaurants throughout the UK and pretty much everything on their menu is gluten free or can be made gluten free. They use Schär buns for the gluten free burgers and even their breaded chicken burgers and strips are gluten free, along with all of their sides and gravy.

There are two Bundobusts in Manchester, one in Piccadilly and one on Oxford Road. This Indian Street Food and craft beer bar has loads of gluten free options on their menu and even a few gluten free beers!

A cosy gastropub in Castlefield with a good selection of gluten free options, from hearty pub classics to lighter bites, and a great outdoor space right next to the canal perfect in summer. Staff are very clued up on allergens and dietary requirements.

Yes, you heard it right - a gluten free Chinese! Not everything on the menu at Sweet Mandarin is gluten free but they have an extensive GF menu including spring rolls, crispy duck, salt & pepper munchie box, noodles and so much more. People travel from the other end of the country to visit and we know why!

Another Chinese inspired spot! Every brit loves a bit of salt and pepper and this place is exactly that with lots of gluten free options including rice boxes, shredded crispy chicken, loaded fries and calamari.

A must-visit for pie lovers - Pieminister has restaurants throughout the country, including two in Manchester, and you can also pick up some of their gluten free pies in supermarkets. They have a few gluten free pie options and their gravy is naturally gluten free and delicious!

Pho is a group of restaurants dotted around the country, serving great value, healthy Vietnamese food that's cooked fresh in each kitchen daily. 98% of the Pho menu is naturally gluten free year round (including desserts) and for Coeliac Awareness Month they wowed us all by removing all gluten from the menu, so anyone with an intolerance would feel the love.

Pico’s Tacos is a food vendor within Manchester's Food Hall, Mackie Mayor, and they’re also at Altrincham market on the outskirts of Manchester. Their tacos and nachos are gluten free (just check their fillings) and their spicy margs are some of the best.

Relaxed dining and drinking with a touch of timeless glamour. Cosy Club restaurants are owned by the same group that founded Lounge cafes, so both are part of the Loungers Limited company. Lucky for us, that means another great restaurant chain who takes allergens and dietary requirements seriously and has a gluten free menu worth bragging about.

Firehouse is known for its rotisserie chicken and Mediterranean flavours, with gluten free options available on request. They have gluten free pittas to go with their dips and most of their sides and meat dishes are also gluten free. Psst - they also do a great bottomless brunch!

Six By Nico have a few restaurants dotted around the UK and two in Manchester - they’re fine-dining spots with a six-course tasting menu that can so easily be adapted for gluten free diners without many changes to the dish. On the pricey side but worth it for the standard of food and service.

Australasia is a luxury restaurant hidden underground in Spinningfields. The food is excellent and although the gluten free options aren’t easy to spot on the menu, staff are very accommodating to talk you through the gluten free options including sushi, small plates, curries and sides.
