🛒 Lidl's Gluten Free Range

In Lidl GB (England, Scotland & Wales), there isn’t a dedicated gluten free range - so you won’t find a consistent Free From section like in some other supermarkets. Whilst you might spot the occasional gluten free item or special buy, the range is limited and varies from store to store.

However, in Lidl Ireland - which includes both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland - Lidl offers a dedicated gluten free range under its own brand, Just Free. This includes essentials like:

• 🍞 Bread & rolls
• 🍝 Pasta
• 🧁 Baking mixes
• 🥣 Cereals
• 🍪 Biscuits & snacks

The Just Free range is more consistently available in Irish stores and includes both everyday staples and seasonal favourites.

🥪 Gluten Free Meal Deals

Lidl doesn’t have a formal meal deal offer like other supermarkets, but you’ll find some sandwiches and salads in their Food To Go section. However, unfortunately, they currently don’t offer a gluten free sandwich, and most salad options are also unsuitable for gluten free diets as they often contain pasta or croutons.

Like all supermarkets, Lidl carries hundreds of products that are gluten free by default so you don't need to buy something within the Free From aisle just because it's there - you can find a safe, gluten free products whether the store does or doesn't have a dedicated Free From aisle.

Knowing what doesn't need to be bought from the Free From section can save you money and open up a whole new world of safe, naturally gluten free products.

Keep an eye out for the usual suspects: no BROW (Barley, Rye, Oats, Wheat), and no 'may contain' warnings if you have coeliac disease.
